Early Foundations (1920–1931)

The origins of TMA trace back to 1920 when the Faculty of Medicine was established at Turkestan State University. In 1931, this faculty was reorganized into the Central Asian Medical Institute, which later became the Tashkent State Medical Institute in 1935.
